LAST NIGHT saw the likes of Ryan Calais Cameron and Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, Michael Fatogun and Courtney Stapleton among the great and the good recognised for their ongoing endeavours at The Black British Theatre Awards (BBTAs).

The 2022 ceremony, presented by Danny Sapani, kicked off with an introduction from Deputy Artistic Director of The National Theatre, Clint Dyer.

Writer and Actor Giles Terera MBE, actors Rachel John and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith MBE, also presented awards on the evening.

Launched in ​​2019, and now in its fourth year, the BBTAs are more relevant and impactful than ever before.

This year the awards were supported by the National Theatre and the ceremony
took place in The Lyttelton Theatre.
